Dale Meyer Trucking Co. of Odessa, TX is looking for a Pipe Yard Employee to join our team. We are looking for a diligent worker to aid us in the pipe yard. All necessary training to perform the job will be provided by Dale Meyer Trucking Co. This is typically a 50-hour/week job with some work on the weekends, as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50+ lbs. Job Duties: Stage Pipe for inbound and outbound shipments Can work outdoors in extreme weather conditions Load/unload pipe from flatbed trailers in a pipe yard Follow all company safety and PPE requirements Be organized with paperwork Be able to use standard tape measure/ tally gun to measure and tally pipe Responsibilities: Able to store pipe on racks and knowledge to pyramid and strip load pipe Responsible for counting and checking inbound and outbound shipments Perform daily inspections of equipment Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions
