Under minimal supervision, using knowledge and skill to safely pick up, transport, and deliver various freight by operating and maneuvering diesel-powered tractor-trailer combinations equipped with multi-speed, multi-range transmissions and air brakes over short or long distances and irregular routes. Must maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and Company policies.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with proper endorsements in state of residence and at least 23 years old. • Meet all Federal Motor Carrier Qualifications (FMCSR 391) • Minimum 2 years of recent verifiable experience operating tractor/trailer equipment. • Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report • Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Must maintain required medical certifications to include drug and alcohol testing.
