The CDL Driver, reporting to the Dispatcher, is responsible for safely operating a truck, communicating with the Dispatcher for driving schedules and questions regarding schedules, completing pre-and post-trip inspections on vehicles, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures, reporting all defects, accidents, or violations. Drivers will be hauling primarily aggregate, soil, and mulch as well as doing paving work. Drivers will be tasked with safely driving a variety of vehicles including, but not limited to, single axel, triple axel, dump trailer, tanker, roll-off and flatbed.
